Timeless gets canceled, only to be back again

This really happened, and for a brief period of a few days all the hopes of the hardcore fans of the time-traveling-show were silenced...

Even the main antagonist Goran Visnjic had something to say about his new favorite TV project.

"This has been a tough day for fans of NBC’s time-travel drama ‘Timeless’. Even though this show had everything going for it, and managed to attract a loyal fan base in a short amount of time, still the network executives’ decided that the series will not be returning for a second season. Once the news got out, the show’s heroic trio and the series villain played by Goran Visnjic, used social media to reflect their thoughts on the cancellation."

It is known that many of the fans got mad at NBC for shutting down arguably one of the better TV series that aired on their channel. And the people responsible for the cancellation allegedly have heard their voices, and have decided to back-paddle on their decision. It was of enormous pleasure to inform that only a weekend later, the show got re-instated again, but for early 2018.

Interviewer: Your role in "Crossing lines" is a perfect example of this. Marco joined the special unit of the International Criminal Court as an expert in abductions, but kept his privacy and that will remain hidden until the end of the season. Goran Visnjic: It is interesting that you raise the topic at this moment, because today we were shooting a scene with Elizabeth (Mitchell), which has a lot to do with what we're now talking about. Heroine Elizabeth - Karine talked about Marco's sister, who has been kidnapped. She knows very well that he accepts this too personally. Just two hours before starting the filming, writers sent us some new directions for the scenes.
