Goran Visnjic is an American actor with European roots. He was born in a small town in Croatia, where at the age of 9 he makes his first steps on the acting stage. After graduating from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, he gets noticed by American producers and starts receiving invitations for Hollywood. In 1997 he lands a role in “Welcome to Sarajevo”, a movie directed by Michael Winterbottom, followed by a role in “The Peacemaker” where he plays alongside George Clooney and Nicole Kidman. In 1999 he joined the cast of “ER” as Dr. Luka Kovac , the role that would change his life and launch his career to stardom. In 2001 he decides to do something outside the silver screen and appears in the movie “The Deep End”, which was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Fans of the NBC series “Timeless” were more than delighted when after the initial news about the series cancellation, the network revealed that there would be a second season. Withdrawing its first announcement caused quite a stir. In a press interview, the chairman of NBC network explained that the main reason why they decided to give “Timeless” another chance was that of the fans' requests. Even though compared to some of the networks' other offerings, the show's ratings were not that high, “Timeless” managed to gather a strong fan base in its first season of airing. The most responsible for the strong fan base is the Croatian actor , Goran Visnjic.  It isn’t cheap to pull off a successful show. The executives at Sony are confident that 'Timeless' can become a long-running show, which is why they’re aiming to make this next season a bit more family-friendly. In the next season, we can also expect to see them go further into race, gender, and other ignored players in history.

One of the most announced and anticipated series for this fall season has definitely been “Timeless’”, which for quite a while has been characterized as a hot pilot at NBC. Timeless is a brand new sci- fi drama with a lot of energy. The story follows a group of three heroes into the adventure of their lives, chasing the bad guy named Garcia Flynn, played by Visnjic .
